The purpose of this project is to study the effect of standard care alone vs standard care with Tirofiban Hydrochloride (AGGRASAT) in patients diagnosed with aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage. AGGRASTAT is not currently FDA approved for use in this population so in this phase 1/2a randomized trial we hoped to support the following hypothesis:
Long term use Aggrastat (10 days) is safe in subjects with aneurysmal subarachnoid hemophage (aSAH), and has minimal symptomatic hemorrhagic risk conversions associated with ventriculostomy/VP-shunt placement.
